How can I inspire myself to continue school?
AO099 asked:
I’m taking 8 week courses and have already completed 27 credit hours in less than 6 months through CLEP and online courses. I’ve noticed that whenever I become bogged down with homework I tend to just come to the brink of giving-up and indulge in laziness. How can I break from this whenever it occurs? Any suggestions?

Just go to McDonald’s and listen very carefully to this question - ‘Do you want fries with that?”
If that’s not your career goal, stay in school!! Make a list of what needs to be done, when things are due, and pace yourself.

Visualise the goal - is being lazy going to get you where you want to go?

if you look at your homework as a challenge, it will help, try doing the best of the best to find the highest quality answers to achieve a really high grade. then you can go do anything you want to with your life and career. maybe travel oversea’s to work, but you have to put in the hard yards now, when you finish your homework you can do whatever you want.
I hated homework at school to

for starters….make sure that you actually like what you are doing. if not, then, tough call.
i suppose if you get totally knackered and your brain becomes totally sore with doing a heap of homework, take a breather, give yourself a time to rest, then try again. itd be nice to have study buddies around with whom you can work with. and i suppose everyone who’s studying undergoes the same experience with homeworks, apparently some people just try harder and not give up, and end up finishing their tasks! i suppose looking at the end result would help as well. i am doing a degree in nursing and for sure it is hard as, my social life’s actually a wee bit ruined because after doing clinical duty for four days, i still have to study for the rest of the week. i do get totally banjaxed and all that, but in the end, it’s all worth it, init? well, that helps me to keep on trying when im on the brink of giving up. i actually visualise myself working in the hospital. i dunno what you do but perhaps you can do that as well!
